Description

ITEM DESCRIPTION:

You are viewing my extremely rare 7" Demonstration (Demo) Single by THE BLUE ACES entitled,  'That's All Right'.  Side Two has the track 'Talk About My Baby'

Released on the COLUMBIA Record Label in 1966 it has reference number DB 7954

CONDITION:

Both sides of this disc look bright and glossy.  There are a number of light unfeelable marks however there are no deep scratches - please look at the photographs.

As the photographs show, there are a great deal of writings (and crossings out) on the centre label to both sides.  I therefore visually grade the disc as G.

The disc plays with some light background 'crackle' that is only audible at the very beginning (before the music starts) but is barely noticeable when the music starts.  I therefore play grade the disc as VG.

This record will be supplied in a genuine Columbia paper record sleeve.

OTHER INFORMATION:

This disc is a genuine and original Demo from 1966 and is not a re-issue.

The matrix detail to Side One is: 7XCA 28485 - 1, with the mother stampers of 1 and R.  There is a stamped (and embossed) tax code of KT

The matrix detail to Side Two is: 7XCA 28486 - 1, with the mother stampers of 1 and G.  There is a stamped tax code of KT.

Finally, this record is not in mint condition.  It has a great number of visible marks to both sides however, none of which are feelable.

I have cleaned the disc on my VPI record cleaner and have played it on my Goldring Lenco deck - it plays absolutely fine (as I described above).

This is an extremely hard to find single and is rarely offered for sale.  I will be happy to answer any queries yo have and can provide further photographs if required.

Thank you for looking and good luck if you are bidding!
