THE BLUES TRAIN - Self Titled LP
This LP is truly getting rare. This copy looks vg++, with very little use. Play graded, it plays vg+ to vg++, a little surface noise in some of the quieter sections, nothing too distracting. This seems to be inherent with the pressing. Labels are nice and clean. Cover is vg++, would be nm but there are a few very small spots on the back bottom left corner. There is still about 3/4ths of the shrink wrap covering the cover. 2 stickers on the shrink wrap.
Original first pressing from 1969 on Condor Records # CST 2465 stereo gold label.
Psychedelic Westcoast sound blues from Canada
Another mystery Canadian band of the early Seventies. English composer Johnny Kitchen has some involvement here but most of the musicians are, even now, unknown. What is certain though is that this is rousing West Coast flavoured blues rock with plenty of ringing lead guitar, freaky keyboards, harmonica breaks and frantic vocals. If you like the more blues based San Francisco psych albums you will love this.

Grading Standards
Near Mint (nm) Almost New. Might have a slight paper scuff or a hairline. Plays with no noise that is due to visible imperfections. Highest grade I use.
Very Good++ (Vg++) Very clean record, well taken care of. Just a couple light scuffs or hairlines. Plays extremely well.
Very Good+ (Vg+) Well taken care of. A few scuffs, possibly a few light scratches and marks. Minimum of distracting noise.
Very Good (Vg) Not especially well taken care of, but not abused either. Light scratches, scuffs and marks. Plays with some background noise but is still enjoyable and collectible. Some gloss. I normally do not sell records in this condition
