This is the Soundtrack LP to the c. 1955 Musical production, THE BODY IN THE SEINE (A MUSICAL TOUR DE FORCE THROUGH PARIS)
( Alden-Shaw Production VB-001--mono--1955).
This recording was made before any stage production was created for the music; the producers, Sam Vitt and D. A. Brown, and David Lippincott were actually seeking a writer who could and would turn the music into a stage show, as advertised on the jacket back cover ("Help Wanted..."), but no show was ever written
- CONDITION: Record: VG++; Jacket: VG (bottom seam split 3/4 across; front and back yellowed and lightly discolored; back paper layer slightly loose along bottom edge and along bottom third of spine-side edge).
