Hi, these are 2 very rare, limited edition LPs of demos and live tracks of Nick Cave's first punk band called the Boys Next Door in 1978 which featured Nick Cave, Mick Harvey, Tracy Pew, Phillip Calvert, and Rowland S. Howard who would turn into his second (post-punk) band called the Birthday Party and then some members would continue onto the well known (Indie) band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds many years later. Basically if you ever wanted to hear Nick Cave as a teenager doing punk songs, here it is. The numbered, limited edition, LP (black vinyl) called The Lost and Brave Exhibitions features demos from 1977-1979 including the songs (Sex Crimes, Enemy of the state, These Boots are made for walking, Masturbation Generation, Boy Hero, Scatter brain, Night watchman, Brave exhibitions, friends of my world, the voice, roman roman, somebody's watching). The green vinyl lp called Boys next door-what's the story? is a live concert recording from Australia which the songs you can read off from the photos. The green vinyl is also limited edition but not numbered. Both sleeves are records are in Near Mint condition, just like when I bought them. I'd have to say for bootlegs the audio quality is pretty good, much better than bootlegs usually are. You can't buy these any more and anything early Nick Cave or Boys next door is extremely rare. Quite a few of these band members are deceased. If you're a Nick Cave fan or just looking for some extra punk vinyl you're in the right place. You can look up tracks and videos from this band on youtube to make sure you like them. Comes from a non smoking home, happy bidding.
