Vintage 12" 33rpm Vinyl LP Record Album
Rare LP containing five 5-minute "The In Sound" music programs hosted by DJ Harry Harrison distributed by the U.S. Army to radio stations.
Each program features Harrison introducing a current hit song and talking to the DJ or listener who picked it. Harrison then does a commercial for why you should go down to your local Army Recruiting Station to join "today's Action Army." After playing the song, he then does a brief interview with someone from the band.
Includes the original insert with info about each show.
This record includes:
1) "I Make A Fool of Myself" by Frankie Valli...followed by an interview with Frankie Valli.
2) "Lady Friend" by The Byrds...followed by an interview with "Jim" McGuinn.
3) "Zip Code" by The Five Americans...followed by an interview with Mike Rabon.
4) "Apple, Peaches, Pumpkin Pie" by Jay and The Techniques...followed by an interview with Jay Proctor.
5) "Ballad of You and Me and Pooniel" by the Jefferson Airplane...followed by an inteview with "Gracie" Slick.
Condition: Record is in lightly played condition with clean labels. Jacket is attractive but does have some surface wear. No edge seps, a few scrapes and dings. Insert is essentially flawless.
