This STILL SEALED Christmas LP - and I realize this might be rushing the season a bit, LOL - is by the highly successful '70's duo, The Carpenters (siblings, Karen and Richard) and is entitled "Carpenters Christmas Portrait" from 1978. The album features 17 songs including their classic holiday single, "Merry Christmas Darling", and yes, the album is STILL SEALED - never been opened or played. Some of the Christmas songs on this album include traditional favorites, "Sleigh Ride", "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On A Fire"), "I'll Be Home For Christmas" and the previously mentioned hit single, "Merry Christmas Darling" amongst many other goodies (see pics). It is on the original A&M Records label (SP-4726), and even shows the original price tag sticker ($6.98) in the top right corner of the front side, as well as the original "gift tag sticker" in the bottom right corner - to provide the means to send this to a friend as their Christmas gift. I have tried to provide a sampling of all this in the pictures above, so please check them out. INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, this album is in like new condition (STILL SEALED), and as always, I have begun the auction at a very low opening bid and have no reserve price - just free and open bidding - so good luck! FYI, if anyone wants to bid on multiple items to save on postage costs, I am more than happy to "save" your winning pieces here at the house until you are ready for shipping - just tell me ahead of time, wait for my invoice (not EBay's), and pay for each item as you win them. I am selling off my entire personal collection, and there are 100's more to list yet -- of all varieties and genres. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are $22.00 for this LP and then just $4.00 per LP after that. PLEASE NOTE: I will not be responsible for records  that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services.
