You are bidding on a 5 LP lot (“Instant Cars Collection”), on vinyl from New Wave Icons from the late 1970’s and early 1980’s, “The Cars.” (See listing below).
We purchased these decades ago, played them (and enjoyed them), and they have been sitting in our home (vertically) for the last few decades.
Please remember that these albums were well taken care of, but were played as part of our record collection decades ago. We have tried to show the condition on the photos included with this listing.
This item has been stored at room temperature, in a smoke free home. Please see photos of actual item being sold.
The Cars 5 Vinyl LP Lot:
1st LP: (Elektra 6E-135); 1978)
This LP was released in 1978 and contains the “Hits” “My Best Friend’s Girl,” “Good Times Roll,” “Just What I Needed,” and “You’re All I’ve Got Tonight.” The cover is in excellent condition, with only very slight wear on the corners. The vinyl is in excellent condition. This issue contains a generic, clear inner-sleeve.
Candy-O (Elektra Records; 5E-507; 1979) This LP was released in 1979, and the hits keep coming. This LP includes “It’s All I Can Do,” “Let’s Go,” and “Dangerous Type.” Cover is in excellent condition (it’s got the cook “Vargas” cover) with very slight wear on the corners; The vinyl is in VG+ condition. The Red Elektra label has small initials written on side 2. This item contains an inner-sleeve with picture and credit notes.
Panorama: (Elektra Records; 5E-514; 1980) This LP was released in 1980, and includes such fan favorites as “Touch & Go,” and “Don’t Tell Me No.” The Cover is in VG condition with slight wear on the corners and some bends and creases in the cover. The vinyl is in excellent condition. This item contains an inner-sleeve with picture and credit notes; but there are tears on the edges of the inner sleeve.
Shake It Up: (Elektra Records 5E-567; 1981) This LP was released in 1981, contains the hit “Shake It Up,” “Since You’re Gone,” and “I’m Not The One.” The Cover is in VG+ condition with slight wear on the corners. The vinyl is in VG+ condition, with some slight markings that do not affect play. The album comes with a clear plastic inner-sleeve.
Heartbeat City: (Elektra Records; 60296; 1984) This LP was released in 1984, and includes such “You Might Think,” “You Might Think,” and the monster hit “Drive.” The Cover is a Gatefold, and is in Excellent condition with slight wear on the corners. The vinyl is in excellent condition. This item contains an inner-sleeve with picture and credit notes.
