All my school time heroes are passing...this one is huge. For anyone feeling the pain, here's a SEALED copy of The Cars 2nd LP, "Candy-O". Put out in 1979 (the year I graduated), this was the album playing everywhere following their huge debut. New Wave was in fashion and Blondie, Elvis Costello's "This Years Model", and The Cars led the way for many of us, with other diverse but compelling albums by the likes of Pink Floyd ("The Wall") and The Clash's "London Calling" were vying for attention on everyone's cassette decks and record players, late 70's being some of the most interesting and potent music in years following the slow fade of Disco and Progressive Rock.     This copy is STILL SEALED, has the familiar "Super Savers Series" sticker on the front top right, and it does have a SAW MARK front bottom left of the iconic Vargas cover. The plastic also has a very small missing piece of shrink to the left of the sticker, a couple of very small "breathe" holes, and the corners are poking out of the plastic just a bit, and are a bit rounded and rough. But, otherwise, this is NEW VINYL in a good solid cover, a very legible spine, and TONS of great songs. This is NOT a new reissue, has NO cut corners or holes, and is ready for you to bring it to life in a very loud fashion. ""Let's Go", "It's All I Can Do", "Double Life", "Candy-O", "You Can't Hold On Too Long", "Lust For Kicks", "Got A Lot On My Head", and "Dangerous Type", this is ESSENTIAL album, and in regards to The Cars, ranks up with the debut as their best. We use official LP mailers with the record outside the cover, and in clean white sleeves separately from any photo inner sleeves. All vinyl is cleaned with an enzyme spray then finished with a SpinClean Machine. With sealed vinyl, please understand that we will only accept returns if the LP is still sealed, which is for our financial protection as well as yours.
