A prolific Thai band with several singles and at least one LP release. The Watusi was a popular song and dance in Thailand during the 60s. This is our favorite version, although the Cat's cool follow up: Jailhouse Watusi (Arc Records 7"), a mix between Jailhouse Rock and Do the Watusi, deserves to be mentioned. The band occasionally added a female singer to increase marketability, as documented on the purdy Meow and their wild, snotty and incredibly strange performance of Hit The Road Jack . Some tracks from these amazing and super rare 45s are featured on the Thai Beat A Go Go compilations. "
