Description
This is an excellent stereo pressing of very rare psych LP, The Ceyleib People, released by Vault Records in 1968. This LP features Ry Cooder on guitar. This is a very rare LP with near mint copies having a book value of $200.
As to grading, I grade very conservatively following Goldmine Record grading standard. Except that for records that are a notch below near mint, rather than VG ++, I prefer to use grade of Excellent. I do not use VG++ grade in addition to Excellent grade as is done by some. Most of the items I am selling will be in the Excellent to Near Mint range.
The LP is in excellent condition with just few barely visible hairs/scuffs showing on what is very shiny surface. The LP has been play graded using headphones after having been cleaned by hand, and plays very nice and quietly. The cover is in very good condition plus . All cover corners are slightly worn. The seams and spine are strong with no splits and product information is still readable on spine although group name is worn. The front and back of the cover are in very good condition with ring and other wear visible. The color image on front is very nice. There are also a few creases visible.
The LP is being sold without reserve and payment is expected within 3 days of auction close. Return of the LP will only be accepted if the same LP sold and shipped is returned in the same condition .Buyers that behave in a less than ethical manner will be reported and blocked from participation in future auctions. The LP will be separated from the cover when shipped to prevent seam splitting.
