MGM 1438 (1968) UK DEMO RECORD (Release date 29.9.68)
The very attractive dark pink label with the large 'A' in silver print makes this UK MGM DEMO 45 a welcome adddition to any record collection. This is just one of about twenty MGM DEMOS which we will be listing over the next few days. All of these DEMOS belonged to somebody who had connections with MGM Records both here and also in the USA. Most were played just once or twice, some a bit more than that and some not at all. The UK DEMOS are in plain white sleeves which is maybe the way they were issued. As collectors will know EMI DEMOS (of which MGM was a subsidiary label ) were usually issued in factory sleeves but for some reason it seems that not all MGM DEMOS were. The USA MGM DISC JOCKEY PROMOS we are listing are in factory sleeves.
LABEL CONDITION - Mint with no visible spindle marks.
VINYL CONDITION - Original sheen with a few very light handling marks none of which are audible.
in plain white sleeve
