Description
THE CHESTERFIELD KINGS - I Ain't No Miracle Worker/Exit 9 7" Living Eye Records LSD-1 1980 Only 500 pressed
From what I've read online there are only 500 of these original pressings of this the debut single from my favorite garage rock band from the early 80s era.
I was the buyer for an import/indie distributor in the early '80s and so I probably grabbed this when it arrived. Been in a box of singles in storage room since I moved to LA from NYC in 1984.
Vinyl is near mint. I was the only owner and when I played it tonight I heard no surface noise or pops. No fingerprints, scratches, scuffs either. Jacket is almost mint too. I see a tiny faint bit of ringwear on the back. Can be seen in photo if you look to the right of the name David Shutt. ALSO the glue that holds the front and back must have dried out because when I took the jacket out of the plastic bag it unfolded. I thought it was a foldover sleeve.
UPDATE - I noticed some light yellow/brown on the image of the back of the jacket. That's not on the sleeve. Must be a refection of the morning sun. I'm using an iPhone so not the best for photos.
