Description

This LP is a vintage vinyl record titled "THE CHICAGO BLUES TODAY 1966 Vol.3" featuring various artists, including Charlie Musselwhite. This first press LP is signed by Charlie Musselwhite and his band of April 1991; and is a must-have for collectors and fans of Chicago Blues from the 1960s. Produced by Samuel charters with his liner notes. The record is in fair condition, with a good cardboard sleeve and is a valuable addition to any music collection. Charlie went by the name Memphis Charlie back in early arrival in Chicago.

The gig I had Charlie sign at was the venue Tramps in April 1991, NYC. His younger band members were very interested in seeing the photo of Charlie with Walter Horton, and wanted to sign also. The guitar player added the 1991 date by his signature. Johnny Hammond opened that night acoustic, he signed a record of his (just sold it). I don't know the grading well. It's 60s years old, played on different turntables.  Has not been played in about 30 years, been traveling with me. Good collector item with signatures.

Shipping is about $5.22 media mail. Thank you for viewing.
