THE CHRIS McGREGOR GROUP very urgent POLYDOR LP 184137 A//1 & B//1!
ORIGINAL UK LP with front LAMINATED sleeve, released in
1968 on the POLYDOR label .
Catalogue number: 184137.
MATRIX NUMBERS: A//1 & B//1
VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT CONDITION
Overall a VERY GOOD+ sleeve, displays some slight/light partial
record sleeve ring wear (partial light dulling outline on front and
some small partial sleeve print outline rubs on the top of the back
sleeve), a corner laminate crease/lift across the top left hand
side (with no corresponding sleeve impression on the back)
and a couple of small spine edge laminate creases/lifts overlapping
the spine’s edge. There is a small seem lift (unglued) on/along the
right hand side of the bottom sleeve edge (approx 10cms which
has come unglued) this will stick back together without any
problems). Sleeve has no rips/tears, no edge wear, no
corner wear (apart from bottom left), no seem splits, no writing
and no other sleeve creases.
Record comes complete with the original Made In Great Britain
printed paper/poly lined protective inner sleeve, displays some light
wear from storage and age, but with no visible damage, overall in
VERY GOOD++ condition.
Record labels are NEAR MINT clean with no visible damage and
just a one small light spindle hole mark evident on the B-side.
Vinyl shows full original glossy sheen on both sides, displays a
very faint barely visible hairline surface scuff at 5 o’clock on the A-
side (last track and a little on the previous one) and a few minimal
barely visible ultra light fine line surface scuffs, which only show
up when angled and viewed closely under a strong bright light.
B-side appears in Near MINT condition.
Record plays mostly EXCELLENT throughout, emitting a good clear
clean sound, with some occasional low level background
surface noise in some of the quieter passages. The B-side is
slightly better but there is one noticeable pop near the end.
