I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A NICE COLLECTION OF UNIQUE PROMOS / TEST PRESSING AND ACETATE. THIS COLLECTION CAME FROM A PERSON WHO USED TO WORK IN A MAJOR RADIO STATION FROM THE LATE 1960'S TO THE EARLY 1990'S. THERE ARE UNIQUE TEST PRESSING ACETATE ETC.. OF ROCK / PUNK / SOUL / PROG ETC... SO PLEASE KEEP WATCHING MY AUCTIONS OVER THE NEXT FEW MONTHS FOR THIS ONCE IN A LIFETIME CHANCE TO GET THESE UNIQUE TEST PRESSINGS AND ACETATES.
This is a RARE UK ORIGINAL PROMO 7" SINGLE BY THE CLASH entitled "CAPITAL RADIO EP" from 1977, ORIGINAL UK PROMO ISSUE IN AMAZING CONDITON AND A MUST !!! This copy is a RARE PROMO COPY and was only sent as a promo to radio stations and reviewers !!! Not only that, but this copy HAS NOT BEEN PLAYED IN 37 YEARS AND COMES LIKE THE DAY IT WAS MADE !!!
This collection came from a major UK radio person who worked in a major UK radio station from the late 60's to the late 90's all the copies were ORIGINAL FIRST ISSUES or PROMO COPIES !!! This PROMO 7" was pressed in 1977 on CBS RECORDS, catalogue number CL 1. The tracks are: LISTEN / INTERVIEW - TONY PARSONS - THE CLASH / INTERVIEW - TONY PARSONS - THE CLASH / CAPITOL RADIO.
This PROMO 7" also comes with the ORIGINAL PICTURE SLEEVE and the condition of the VINYL is MINT- (UNPLAYED), ORIGINAL P/S is in EX++/EX+++ LIKE NEW only minor bends and minor ring mark on back).
DON'T LET THIS RARE ORIGINAL UK PROMO CLASH 7" get away as you will NEVER see another one.
