Description

The Clash - LONDON CALLING - 2 x Vinyl LP 1979


Vinyl plays well throughout, sound quality is amazing, I can only pick up a small amount of background noise in the intro to Jimmy Jazz. I have test played all four records before listing and it sounds fantastic throughout, it really is a brilliant album, and a definite very good plus in condition. Slight edge warp most noticeable when you play side 2 but this doesn’t affect play at all - just has a small bounce on the turntable.


Sleeve is showing age related wear and discolouration although all spines are intact all round. There are corner scuffs and creases, and some colour discolouration (foxing) to front and back so please bear this in mind when bidding. But I have photographed all corners and the back of the sleeve so please zoom in on all photographs and look closely.


The inner sleeves are really unusual, they are the original inners which also act as the lyric sheets, but they are made out of thicker card and are die cut in an unusual shape at the top. Again, it's all photographed so please take a good look. Because the inners are made from a thicker card that means they're robust and as such they are all intact no rips or tears. Some colour discolouration here and there.

So the matrixes on side 1 & 2 don't relate to the matrixes on side 3 & 4 but I have no idea why this is.


Postage 2nd class Royal Mail, please look at my other items as I am selling lots of my vinyl collection. Will combine postage on multiple items, and I always carefully package vinyl in record mailers with stiffener. Please don't expect brand new records when you buy second hand from any seller, but I always test play once again before listing and describe honestly.
