This is a one of a kind find Live UK 2 Lp set by THE CLASH called: CLAMPDOWN U.S.A. both lps are pressed on thick, heavy vinyl with orange CENTRIFUGAL labels . #12CENT-12, recorded Sept 21, 1979, at New York Palladium NYC, with MICK JONES, JOE STRUMMER, PAUL SIMONON , TOPPER HEADON, with MICKY GALLAGHER (Keyboards). Has 25 tunes. LONDON CALLING / I FOUGHT THE LAW / TOMMY GUN / THATS NO WAY TO SPEND YOUR YOUTH / GARAGELAND / WHITE RIOT , ARMAGEDDION TIME, CAPITOL RADIO , WORKING FOR THE CLAMPDOWN, Etc. Cover has color photo with red print on front, black and white photo with song titles , band members etc on back. Spine print is black and near perfect, also no seam or spine splits, flaking, or bad wear, etc. Cover only has light wear and some browning, I also noticed a few tiny wrinkles, no writing, stickers, etc. Both lps are hardly played and in great condition, Labels have no spindle marks, stains, writing, stickers, etc. I noticed only one faint spindle trail on one lp. Playing surfaces have a deep gloss shine, no scratches, groove wear, defects, etc. If you search for the hardest to find early original Clash records consider this rarity. CONDITION: COVER VG+ / LPS NM & NM - . I played excerpts from all 4 sides they sounded clean and clear with nice sound quality, no distortion and no annoying background noise.
