Up for auction is an incredibly rare, highly sought-after original 1979 US White Label Radio Station Promo pressing of The Clash’s masterpiece, London Calling.
This is the ultimate collector's piece featuring the authentic "Demonstration Not For Sale" white labels on all four sides, alongside the original gold CBS promo stamp on the top-left back corner of the outer jacket.

This copy features the legendary handwritten dead wax matrix etchings across all 4 sides. The mastering engineer hand-etched one word onto each side to spell out the iconic hidden message:
Side 1 (image_57.png): "TEAR"
Side 2 (image_56.png): "DOWN"
Side 3 (image_53.png): "THE"
Side 4 (image_52.png): "WALLS!"
📊 Condition Report:
Vinyl (All 4 Sides): EXCELLENT (EX). The wax retains a beautiful, high-gloss shine with exceptionally clean surfaces. Shows incredible preservation for a promo record.
Labels: Clean, white promo text. Please note there are matching radio station library index stickers ("2436") on the center labels (as seen in image_51.png, image_58.png, image_59.png, image_60.png), adding a fantastic layer of authentic punk radio pedigree to the piece.
Jacket: GOOD+ / VERY GOOD. This is the correct, original US single-pocket wide sleeve jacket (not a gatefold). The spine and edges show some shelf wear. The front cover shows a visible tear/liquid stain near the top right quadrant near the word "Clash". The original gold promotion stamp on the back is perfectly legible.
Inners: Includes the original, double-sided printed lyric inserts/sleeves (image_54.png, image_55.png, image_61.png, image_62.png) in great, fully intact shape.
