Description

Here is a chance to own a vinyl copy of one of the greatest albums ever recorded - the debut album from 'The Clash', simply titled 'The Clash'.

Released in 1977 on the CBS record label the album boasts fourteen tracks including the singles 'White Riot' and 'Remote Control'.

I was a keen fan of The Clash and I remember buying this album as soon as it was available. The plain white inner sleeve has the original circular red decal stuck to it - probably to signify the band's politics at that time. However I am not sure if it is a first or second pressing as the  inscriptions on the run-out grooves are 'CBS 82000 A2' on side one and 'CBD 82000 B2' on side two.

I have always taken great care with my records.  I replace them in their sleeves and store them upright pressed firmly between other albums. As a result the vinyl is in excellent condition with scarcely a surface mark. Playing the record reveals that it is remarkably free of clicks or pops.

The cover has just a few signs of scuffing around the circumference of the disc (where it has been held inside) plus at the front top left corner and a couple of slight horizontal crease marks (1.5cm and 1cm in length respectively) near the centre of the spine. Allowing for these minor faults it is still in great shape for a thirty three year old cover.

I aim to ship items within 48 hours of receipt of Paypal funds (or within 24 hours of cheque clearance).

I will obtain proof of postage for all items sent out but cannot be responsible for non-delivery when using standard mailing methods. If a guaranteed delivery service is preferred please contact me and I will let you know the additional cost involved.

Payment expected within three days of receiving my invoice, or contact established within that time.

I offer postage discounts for multiple wins and I generally charge actual shipping costs, plus around 50p for the packaging. Please contact me if you would like a quote for the shipping cost of multiple wins.
