VERY RARE-THE CLASH-PEARL HARBOUR ’79-JAPANESE LP EX/VG COMPLETE

This is a rare opportunity to bid for an excellent and complete example of this special package of the 1979 Japanese pressing of the debut album by The Clash featuring the extended US tracklisting. You are bidding for the full set including the pink/yellow artwork oversleave, the vinyl lp with the familiar iconic debut album artwork, a fold-out photo and lyric sheet in English and Japanese, and the 45rpm bonus single featuring ‘Groovy Times’ and ‘Gates Of The West’. Like other Japanese editions the pressing quality is very good.

I was a bit late in getting to know The Clash. Only when ‘Tommy Gun’ began to make a chart impact did I really take any notice. Then came ‘London Calling’ and I got tickets to see the band at The Strand Lyceum Ballroom in London. That was over 30 years ago and it’s still at the top of my list of best ever gigs of all time. After witnessing this epic performance I went home and started catching up on the back catalogue. I found this in a local record store and bought it right away. Now it’s time for me to move on so you have the chance to bid on my much loved record, a must for any fan or collector..
