THE CLASH - debut LP ORIGINAL in SHRINK with hype sticker + bonus 7” 1979

CBS Records, 1979


A great COMPLETE copy of the Clash’s US debut, featuring the original hype sticker which advertises the bonus 7” contained within. This is only the second copy I’ve ever seen with this sticker intact!


CONDITION (sleeve/vinyl): VG+/EX

Sleeve has very slight wear on the bottom corners, probably closer to EX. Bonus 7” is EX.

GRADING:

• NM (near mint) is the highest grade for a record in beautiful shape.

• EX (excellent) means there is very little to no wear — a small, inaudible surface mark on the vinyl or a small bend on the sleeve

• VG+ (very good plus) means the sleeve has minor wear — creased and/or shows a slight ring impression, and the disc shows cosmetic signs of handling

• VG (very good) means the sleeve shows multiple flaws (sticker tear, seam split, ring wear, rumpled top) and the disc has multiple small scratches

• VG- (very good minus) means the sleeve is "well loved" with numerous flaws while the vinyl is exhibits many flaws and is noisy

• G (good) means the sleeve contains major flaws such as large tears, heavy staining, etc., while the vinyl is beat but playable with no skips
