Description

SOUGHT-AFTER original pressing of first Clash album - bought in the week it was released and treasured part of my personal collection ever since.
Only selling now because of downsizing home (digital copies will have to suffice).
Iconic album sleeve is in very good+ (almost excellent) condition with . Absolutely no scratches, dings, dents or (heaven forbid) writing - and main images and fluorescent text looking as good as they did back in April 1977. Just a little shelf wear around edges. Corners are still square and so is the spine, with band and label/catalogue names clearly legible, and sleeve surface still retains its original shop-bought sheen to the touch.
Plain white paper inner in excellent condition. Sunburst-style CBS labels are perfect on both sides - and this is the earliest version with two-pointed arrow under STEREO at nine o-clock on the label.
Vinyl still nice and glossy with only a few surface marks - consistent with age and regular playing in late 70s - to stop this fine LP being classed as excellent rather than very good+.
