THE COMPLETE BUDDY HOLLY COLLECTION UK 1979 6 LP VINYL BOX SET ON MCA CORAL CATALOG NUMBER 807
CONDITION
ALL Vinyl is "EXCELLENT" and is bright and glossy, minor hairline scratches and great playback, overall is in great condition for its age.
The Labels are "EXCELLENT" no writing some very minor marks and minimal spindle wear. Some of which are near mint.
The Inner Sleeves are "EXCELLENT" with no tears or splits barring just ONE which does have a split on the bottom where the vinyl has pushed through. No ringwear on any of them, some have a few brown blotches.
The Outer Sleeves are "EXCELLENT" very firm with no tears, splits or creases. Just some very minor brown blotches. Overall all are very presentable.
The Outer Main Box is "GOOD" is fully intact with no seam splits. Scuffing is present on corners with discolouration around the edges, especially near the Spine. There are what looks like brown blotches present on the top edge which I think looks like it became damp at some time and has left this defect behind as a result. There is also a tear on the bottom right corner of the FRONT of the box which is roughly 2cm in length and protrudes slightly onto the edge alongside.
The presentation side of the main box which displays "THE COMPLETE BUDDY HOLLY" alongside the catalog number is "FAIR/GOOD" is fully readable, but with being the exposed area of the box has suffered more wear than other areas of the box. (more scuffing, discolouration).
The 60 page Booklet is "VERY GOOD/EXCELLENT" is fully intact with no tears or scuffing and is firm with just some small brown blotches on the front and rear exposed areas
The tracklisting sheet is "VERY GOOD/EXCELLENT" no tears with some brown blotches mainly on the REAR side.

RECORD COLLECTOR MAGAZINE'S GRADING GUIDE
"MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler."
