Description
ARTIST :THE CRESCENDOS
TITLE :"Oh Julie"
YEAR/LABEL :1958 LONDON HLU 8567
Amazing orange LONDON one sided demo. One of the most high quality doowop groups on this fabulous track with the soaring vocals of Janice Green. RRPG lists index as HLU 8563 while this is rubber stamped HLU8567. Somebody messed up...It was common practice in the 50s and early 60s to release demos on two discs with the flipsides having no labels. The labels also had different colour than the regular release (except maybe DECCA). These are indeed, extremely rare to come by! YOU ARE BIDDING ON A SINGLE SIDED DEMO RECORD!
DESCRIPTION :Vinyl is in unbelievable NMint condition. Very clean label, no spindle marks. Index rubber stamped on and duration hand written, a common practice for these demos. Comes in generic white sleeve. .
We are proud and privileged to have been given a large portion of the chezvinyl.com collection to use on eBay. In then next months we will be posting amazing rarities. Please check out my other interesting items. Only rare and Near Mint records!
