Description
The Crests 'Sing All the Biggies' LP. Coed Records U.S. #LPC-901. (see pictures). Led by Johnny Maestro the Crests were widely regarded as the first interracial group to top the charts.
Original mono 1960 anolog 1st pressing with 1619 Broadway, NY address on the yellow label. '180P0486-2' is stamped in the dead wax on both sides.
Record is a strong VG+ with light marks. Retains all of it's original gloss. I test played the entire album & it sounded fantastic! Clean & bright with dynamic sound that leaps out of the speakers. Very light surface noise in a few parts but mostly nothing but music. Both labels are clean with no writing, wear or defects.
Cover is also VG+. No creases, rips or ringwear but it does a have clear tape on the top & bottom seams near the opening & some faint writing on the front upper right corner. Nice spine. Comes in it's original oversized plastic bag. (Not all albums were shrink wrapped 50 years ago. Especially the smaller labels).
I'm including, as a free bonus, the original Coed 45 of '16 Candles' pictured. It was inside the album when I got it so I figure they should stay together. It' not in great shape but it does feature the B-Side 'Beside You' which is not on the lp.
As you can see from my feedback, I grade these records accurately but if I should miss something please e-mail me. You'll find I'm very buyer friendly. Satisfaction guaranteed!
E-mail me if you have any questions & BEFORE bidding if you live in Italy or Brazil or have zero positive feedback. I do combine shipping costs for multiple items won. Check out my other auctions for more scarce vinyl. Thanks!
