TITLE/INFO: This rare, very 1st 45 - with it's rather unusual picture sleeve - is by the '50's group, The Crickets (with an early Buddy Holly, of course) on the original, maroon colored Brunswick label, from 1957. As you can see in the pictures above, there is a picture sleeve included here. I don't know if it's a real thing from Brunswick, an import of some kind, or a "boot", but it's a pretty neat addition none the less. The hit 45/PS - his very 1st single - is entitled "That'll Be The Day/I'm Looking For Someone To Love", and the 45 is in extremely nice shape, but please see the pictures above and judge for yourself.  LABEL INFO: This original Brunswick Label (55009) is super clean and nice, with absolutely nothing in need of a mention. I don't even see any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me that it may have had very little actual play. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also super shiny, clean, and nice - and again, I don't see any flaws at all - it looks as good as the day it was 1st purchased - there are just a few super small, and totally uneventful, "pops" on either side, but they have no effect on the record's play. PICTURE SLEEVE INFO: Again, I don't know how to explain the origin of this paper picture sleeves, but it does list both song titles and the correct Brunswick ID numbers - and it is in great overall shape, too. The only flaw I really see - and it's pretty minor - is some creasing/wrinkling along the very top edge, but it really isn't anything too serious, believe me. INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, in my opinion, this rare and hard to find late '50's record is super clean and nice, so please have at it.
