Description

THE CRICKETS ● THE 'CHIRPING' CRICKETS ● Early 60s UK Vinyl LP Reissue ● LVA9081
Time to move on some of my collection of the last 50 years otherwise they will just languish in their case, probably never to be played, by me, again.

Happy to combine UK Postage & Packing if you want to buy more than one of my listings. (Apologies, unable to combine P&P if you utilise the Ebay Global Shipping Option. It will not allow me to do it.)

Over various lockdowns, and now retirement, I have re-played all of my collection and I have graded this as follows:-

VG+/VG+

The Crickets The "Chirping" Crickets   LVA 9081 UK RE ISSUE
Vinyl - Displays quite a few, very fine, very light, superficial paper scuffs/hairlines, absolutely nothing feelable. Played both sides, all through & there's realistically zero crackle/background noise, inaudible even in quiet bits/run in/run out. Sounds great!
Cover - Laminated front, flip-back Picture sleeve, very little edge wear, minor corner wear, a few light wrinkles in laminate, bit grubby/discoloured on back, a really good solid cover.
Inner - Original paper with poly liner
  • Matrix / Runout (Side A): MG-6036-1B UG ZT 1
  • Matrix / Runout (Side B): MG-6037-1B CC MT 31

There are 2 different UK purchase tax codes in the runouts. MT =1963, ZT= 1962 so an early 1960's re-issue it would seem
