Description
The Cross : Mad, Bad and Dangerous To Know (very first pressing)
This very early pressing is in wonderful condition. The vinyl is stunning to the naked eye and the gatefold remains in superb condition also as does the lyric inner. It has 'Blair's' cut into the dead wax on Side One.

Visual grading
There are a few faint hairlines and some light foxing over a very small area on S1 although this has very little affect on the audio. This has only been lightly played as there is very little spindle wear on each side.
Play grading
There is a minimal amount of lead in static and then 'Top of the World Ma' proceeds to play with superb audio and only 2/3 light clicks. The remaining play with great clarity with just a touch of crackle here and there. Don't let this put you off - I grade correctly and write what I hear! It is only very sporadic and the sound is of superior quality and any background noise is just that, very much in the background. The majority of the side still plays with Near Mint audio.
Side Two plays much in the same way with a touch of static here and there but again the vast majority plays with high quality sound. 'Old Men (Lay Down)' in particular plays with stunning quality. A little crackle at the beginning of the final track.
Cover
This cover is of excellent quality apart from a small area of wear along the top edge where the record has attempted to cut through. Otherwise it is extremely clean with only a little rubbing on the corners. Pretty good for 27 years old!
Lyric inner
At first glance the lyric inner looks to be perfect but on closer inspection you can see that there is a split on the right hand side. It really is not that obvious.
The labels
They are both in superb condition with no marking or writing and hardly any spindle wear.
