Description

HOLY GRAIL FUNK LP--first off, cover is in terrible shape--G Minus at best coz it has extensive tears. That's the bad news. If you're a true music head, however, the good news is that the wax is in beautiful MINT MINUS condition with no spindle marks or marks of any sort. From 1975, this lp features scorching raw deep funk instrumentals featuring wild moog, tight economic horn section and a funky funky rhythm section. (YOU CAN HEAR "The Cult Theme" from this album @ Funk45.com.) This disc was recorded in some of L.A.'s best studios (Conway, Sunset Sound, Western and Paramount) and is facemelt hard hitting funk. Released on tiny Starburst Records out of Las Vegas. The front cover by the way is the rarest of the three cover variations. The risque nude asian lady was considered too rude by record merchandizers, so the label replaced it with a dude on a horse (and there's a variation of that).
