Description
The Cult - Official American Music Industry Award
This is a genuine RIAA American music industry Gold Award for 500,000 sales of the album ‘Love’. It was presented to the band’s record label in the early 1990s, as the album wasn’t certified gold in the US until 4 years after its release. The award measures 17x21 inches (44x54cms) and is in good condition. It features the RIAA hologram to indicate its authenticity, and a plaque that includes the following text:

“LOVE”
RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) awards are the American equivalent of British BPI awards, and are only presented to artists, producers, record companies and others in the music industry that contributed to the success of a record. This is an official music industry award and should not be confused with any kind of replica or ‘limited edition’ discs that are sold direct to the public.
A very rare chance to acquire a genuine award for The Cult.
