Description

Up for auction is a nice original copy of The Cure album "Disintegration" originally released in the U.S. on Elektra/Asylum Records (60855-1) in 1989.

-Guaranteed original First Pressing, NOT reissue like most on eBay
-MASTERDISK etched in run-out
-DMM etched in run-out
-Original "Broken Glass" embossed cover
-Original inner sleeve w/ lyrics
-Vinyl comes in poly-lined audiophile inner sleeve
-From my personal collection

Condition:
The cover is in nice condition, with only minor signs of wear.  Front and back are nice and clean, no ring wear, but there is moderate creasing on left side, top and bottom.  Small ding top edge.  Seams are nice, no splits, just a hint of rub here and there.  Corners are sharp with a couple with light rub.  Still attractive and well-preserved.  Grade: Very Good Plus (VG+).

The vinyl disc is also in very nice condition, still retains its original high gloss shine and luster.  No obvious scratches or scuffs, just a couple very faint superficial hairlines that do not affect the quality of the playback, which is Excellent.  Labels are clean, no marks around spindle holes.  This record has been in my personal collection for almost 30 years, played once, then archived.  Very well-preserved.  Grade: Excellent (EX).
