A band like The Cure is always hard to define. They were so diverse, and have been around since the late 70s! They became international superstars in the 80s, and have never looked back since. The Cure is still making new music, will probably tour again once it is safe to do so, and is still relevant in 2021! In 1987, their album 'Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me' was released. It broke the band big time on radio and MTV. No longer only a "college rock" band, The Cure was now being played on the radio, and their videos were in heavy rotation on MTV! One great track from that modern rock masterpiece is the song "Just Like Heaven".

The single had a special, limited release, on a 7" picture disc. It's a bit different than most picture discs in that it uses graffiti-like lettering, instead of an actual picture. Highly sought after by record collectors, and it usually goes for big bucks, here on Ebay! The record is the original, first press Fiction/Facs P 27 release. The vinyl looks great with only a few very light surface marks that are hardly noticable, on the run-off grooves, as well as the spaces between the edge and the beginning of each songs. These marks are VERY, VERY light, and shouldn't affect play, at all. The actual music grooves look shiny and clean! (But I cannot vouch for the sound, as I never play picture discs.)

This comes in its original clear sleeve that's trimmed in a beautiful blue. It's got one song on each side, and the song titles and credits can be found in the "graffiti" written all over each side. The A side is the Bob Clearmountain remix of that great 80s classic, ("Just Like Heaven"), and the B side is the track "Snow in Summer". When these pop up on Ebay at good prices, they never last too long! Grab this Cure collectible before someone else does, and while you still have a chance to!
