Description
THE CURE - " KILLING AN ARAB / 10:15 SATURDAY NIGHT " , Small Wonder Records (age 18 ltd/small eleven) 1978.
This is the extremely debut single from landmark post-punk band, The Cure. Although this song is well known from it's later reissue on a major label, this is the original first pressing on the tiny, Walthamstow based, Small Wonder Records.
This record has been professionally cleaned on my MOTH record cleaning machine.
CONDITION:
VINYL = EXCELLENT (No visible or audible scratches, no excessive wear, groove damage, etc. Looks to have only had relatively few spins. All that marks it down a bit is some slight surface noise audible during the quiet intro to the A-Side - like so many small label pressings from this era, this record was not particularly well pressed and I'm afraid this slight defect is in the pressing rather than the result of damage, dirt or excessive use. Otherwise a great copy of a very rare record. Note: I have thoroughly tested this record in my Linn LP12 turntable (which is generally quite critical test) and stand by my grading and description, although I cannot guarantee exactly how it will sound on your turntable - sorry to be so uptight, but there are some very silly people out there.)
SLEEVE = EXCELLENT- (No rips, tears, stains, defacing, etc. A little worn but still a good "honest" secondhand record sleeve - see photos for further clarification)
NOTE: It's probably worth noting that we are an actually physical record shop trading for over twenty years, with literally decades of record grading and trading experience under our collective belts. Unlike so many of the self-proclaimed experts and have-a-go-heroes that currently clog up ebay, we know how to grade records! Please read my description carefully before you bid and you should be perfectly happy with your purchase - many of my gradings include a certain degree of "ebay caution".
