Description
Up for auction is a great copy of the RARE and VERY HARD TO FIND Norwegian release of the THE CURE'S 1982 masterpiece 'Pornography' (Fiction no. 23 83 639). This original Norwegian release came with unique white labels (please see photo)! This alternate version is so rare that it wasn't even mentioned in Daren Butler's 'the cure on record' book! Here's your chance to get a NEAR MINT copy of this rarity! The record cover is basically the UK version of it, but with a small figure '4' on a red square to the top right hand side of the back panel.
The famous COVER is in NEAR MINT- condition. The COVER shows NO creasing, NO unwanted writing, NO seam splits, etc. just a hint of wear to the spine.
The printed lyric INNER SLEEVE is in EXCELLENT++ condition.
Both sides of the vinyl RECORD are in NEAR MINT condition, mirror-like and without a single mark, scuff or whatsoever! Matrix numbers are on SIDE ONE 2383 639 A 4 P 82 F 710 and for SIDE TWO 2383 639 B 4 P 82 F 710. I stick to the 'RECORD COLLECTOR' grading system (please see below). Satisfaction guaranteed!
Both of the unique record LABELS are in MINT condition!
The album will be mailed to the lucky winner in a stiff record box with extra cardboard stiffeners for best possible protection! The experience and fun of buying records on eBay is ruined if you discover that - once the album arrives - they are either not in the condition stated or have been damaged in the post! For this reason I try to describe all my items in detail, and only post using strong sturdy packaging. Please see my excellent feedback especially in terms of packaging! MINT: The Record Itself Is In Brand New Condition With No Surface Marks Or Deterioration In Sound Quality. The Cover And Any Extra Items Such As The Lyric Sheet, Booklet Or Poster Are In Perfect Condition. Records Advertised, As Sealed Or Unplayed Should Be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The Record Shows Some Signs Of Having Been Played, But There Is Very Little Lessening In Sound Quality. The Cover And Packaging Might Have Slight Wear And / Or Creasing.
VERY GOOD: The Record Has Obviously Been Played Many Times, But Displays No Major Deterioration In Sound Quality, Despite Noticeable Surface Marks And The Occasional Light Scratch. Normal Wear And Tear On The Cover Or Extra Items, Without Any Major Defects, Is Acceptable.
