The Cure-Lament

Made in Britain by Lyntone London
This early version of "Lament" was recorded exclusively for Flexi-Pop magazine and was given away with issue number 22, which, incidentally, did not include a feature on The Cure. This flexi-disc version is very different from the version later found on The Walk "12 and "Japanese whispers, it was recorded by Robert Smith and Steve Severin as a one-off at Garden Studios in London. The majority of these flexi-discs were green, but red copies were also issued, and consequently are considerably more scarce.
