A RESPECTABLE EXAMPLE OF THIS ORIGINAL AND OBSCURE 1968 UK DEVIANTS ALBUM RELEASE.

Collectors will know that this Deviants album is a huge rarity and hardly ever shows up. This one is a respectable and playable example so please read the description and see the scans of the album and sleeve carefully before placing a bid.

The Deviants (formerly The Social Deviants) were an English rock group originally active in the late 1960s, but until his death in 2013, used as a vehicle for the musical work of writer Mick Farren. Farren has stated that The Deviants were originally a community band which "did things every now and then—it was a total assault thing with a great deal of inter-relation and interdependence". Musically, Farren described their sound as "teeth-grinding, psychedelic rock" somewhere between The Stooges and The Mothers of Invention. The Deviants have been described as a transition between classic British psych and the punk/heavy metal aesthetic of the 1970s.

Both record labels are in superb Excellent condition, the labels show a few signs of play around the centre or each label.

Side 1 matrix lettering are SLP+7001+A and Side 2: SLP+7001+B.
Both sides of the heavy quality Vinyl disc are in Excellent Minus condition, both sides of the LP are very clean and bright with only a few light non sounding surface hairlines, ther are no deep scratches or scuffs.

Having played the LP it play’s with a great, clear sound quality, there is light background crackle from the start and odd clicks, there are no skips.

The LP comes in poly lined inner bag which is an excellent example, and is housed in its original Issue Front abd reverse laminated gatefold picture sleeve, the sleeve is in overall Very Good condition, there is no major damage to the sleeve with just corner wear and wear signs to the edges and a couple of creases and laminate bubbles on the front.

A respectable example of this very rare UK Stereo album release from The Deviants.
