MONSTER PSYCH masterpiece from this incredible British four piece working at the very edges of the burgeoning socio political counter culture scene. In fact, the band's home base was in Ladbroke Grove/Notting Hill Gate - a renowned center for bohemian experimentation with Hawkwind and the Pink Fairies also taking up residence. Musically, the band straddle that wonderfully blurred mixture of heavy psych into hard rock with wild intrumental arrangements spearheaded by Mick Farren's abrasive vocals. The rhythm section is wonderfully unrestrained and the guitar riffs are utterly manic. There's also a decidely fun element that permeates proceedings but high on excitement loaded with amazing intrumental segments and blitzkreig riffing. Check out these song titles: 'Fire In The City', 'Let's Loot The Supermarket', Slum Lord' and 'Guaranteed To Bleed'. One of the defintive garage rock albums of all time - right up there with the MC5 and the Stooges.

Vinyl: Looks to have been well used. I will not lie about the condition. I picked this copy up expecting the worst but was pleasantly surprised to find that it played extremely well - full punchy analoque sound. The production on this album focuses on clear ear splitting riffage. Numerous spindle marks on labels and signs of some quite heavy use including scuffs and a few feelable marks. Cover: Signs of use. Issued in a laminated gatefold cover - extremely thin paper stock. Because of the fragile nature of this cover most copies are severly damaged but this one is in reasonable good condition. Sharp corners (slightly rubbed), no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and just a couple of light creases. Spine is straight but slightly worn. Displays some light storage wear. Grades as Vg+
