This is a rare opportunity to purchase from 1977 The Dingoes second album Five Times The Sun, including the insert, all in MINT condition.

The Dingoes were Australia’s foremost country rock band. They blended R&B, blues, country, folk and rock into their own distinctive Australian style which had much more energy than the bland American country rock bands from that era. The Dingoes band members hailed from some of Australia’s best early 70’s bands.

Five Times The Sun was recorded January and February 1977 in California and was their first overseas release. It successfully captures the essence of the band’s roots and their own unique country rock style.

The thick card record sleeve has a photo of the band on one side and lyrics on the other side.

This album is still a favourite of mine 32 years after it was recorded. It has that Dingoes energy, fantastic Aussie lyrics, sing along songs, Broderick Smith’s wonderful vocals and great guitar work from Kerryn Tolhurst and Chris Stockley.

• This record is from my own collection.
• It has always been kept inside a plastic ‘zip’ record bag and stored vertically in shelving.
• Catalogue number A&M Records (manufactured by Festival Records Australia), L36237 (SP 4636), 33 1/3 record.
• Record shiny black, no scratches or scuffs, in Mint condition.
• Record labels side 2 has two very minute indentations (label is not torn) in the label close to the spindle hole on side 2, otherwise labels are in Mint condition.
• Deadwax area SMX 50985, SMX 50986
• Cover Mint condition.
• Insert thicker card record sleeve, in Mint condition.
• Inner sleeve anti static type, in Mint condition

Shipment

• The record will be packed between 2 sheets of corrugated cardboard and despatched in an Australia Post Padded Bag.
