Description

A chance to win a very rare Brazillian Elektra Blue & Silver label Mono press of the Doors seminal debut lp.Release year in Brazil was 1968.I've only ever seen 2 up for sale.The one i own and another listed at £200 on Discogs..Now for the real important stuff.Record is scuffed and has marks..but really plays pretty decent for a 50 year old used record.I've always preferred the Mono mix of this classic myself and this sounds great.Mostly low/mild 'surface noise'..nothing bad at all.There are some background pops for 10 seconds or so at the intro to Soul Kitchen but nothing bad enough to spoil the listeners enjoyment or else i wouldn't be selling.I believe the paper card sleeve like many Brazil lps was encased in a 'plastic bag sandwich' but this appears to have been removed making this a foldover sleeve but the iconic artwork still looks great i think.Starting this lp at a fair start price for such a rare lp.As always questions are welcome..as are overseas bidders.If you do not live in the UK please wait for my adjusted invoice if you win the auction.Thanks and good luck ?
