The Doors' revolutionary self-titled 1967 debut LP – widely regarded as one of rock music's most important debuts – instantly heralded the arrival of an utterly original, and now all-time legendary, band. Through five more groundbreaking studio albums, the Doors were fronted by rock icon Jim Morrison as they expanded the boundaries of contemporary music, performance art and popular culture overall. Today, their impact looms as large as ever, and Rhino continues its 40th anniversary of the group's stunning debut with a deluxe vinyl box set certain to be a highly prized and sought-after rarity.
