Description
Up for auction is a rare, original copy of The Doors album "L.A. Woman" originally released in the U.S. on Elektra Records (EKS 75011) in 1971.
-Guaranteed original pressing
-A2/B1 etched in run-out matrix
-Original cellophane window die-cut cover
-"Doors" on cover is has raised embossed lettering
-Original yellow insert w/ crucifix
-Original green "butterfly" Elektra labels
-No UPC/bar code on cover

Condition:
Cover is in very good condition with light wear, no damage. Window is intact and clear, not scratched, torn, or cloudy. Light rubbing to edges and seams, but no seam splits. Hard to see ring wear--it's dark, not white. Yellow inner sleeve is split along the side seam. Still well-preserved. Grade: Very Good Plus (VG+).
Vinyl is also very good, still has much of its original shine. Does show some light, superficial marks and hairlines. Labels are clean, unmarked. Has some background noise on the run-in grooves, first songs, but it's hard to hear once the music really kicks in. Not audiophile clean, but the sound quality, overall, is still very good. Grade: Very Good Plus (VG+).
