Up for auction is a sealed original 1970 or 1971 press of THE DOORS "Morrison Hotel" Gatefold LP, 1970 Elektra (EKS-75007). The album came from the vintage collection of a former record label employee. The textured gatefold cover, with the breathe hole, has no promo holes, corner cuts or barcode. This press could be either the green label or butterfly label. This has the textured cover, not the later smooth cover. The back cover mentions that it can be played on mono phonographs.
