Description

  • The Doors- "THE DOORS"  Elektra Records ‎–EKL-4007,

Here's one that doesn't come up very often! A FIRST issue Pitman, Columbia MONO pressing of the Doors debut album from 1967! This one has the error on "Alabama Song" crediting "Witmark" that was soon corrected to "Harms Co". These first issues had hand etched matrix info (see pictures). It was soon repressed with stamped matrixes! What makes this more desirable is the fact that you can quite clearly hear Jim chanting "F**k Yeah....F**k, F**k, F**k YEAH" near the last portion of "The End". This was mixed down considerably on subsequent pressings but you can hear it quite well here!!

Cover is VG+               Solid cover. "Mono" on front and rear of cover! Includes original company inner sleeve.

Vinyl is VG or better    Has playwear & scuffing but plays amazingly well! Near Mint Labels.

I combine shipping charges on multiple wins.

$6.00 for the first item, $1.00 for each additional.                               (invHamNC)
