THE DOORS SELF-TITLED DEBUT 1967 ELEKTRA EKL-4007 MONO UNCENSORED SHRINK STICKER
One of the rare copies of the first The Doors album with the 1st uncensored version of the "The End" track with a series of "F**k"s by Jim Morrison. This very early copy was pressed at the Monarch, Los Angeles pressing plant and has a unique misprint on Side 1 label, reading "Oher' (as oppose to "Other") in the "Break On Through To The Oher Side" track. 1st print Elektra label with the "(Weill-Brecht) Witmark (ASCAP)" publishing credit for Alabama Song (Whisky Bar), which was changed to "(Weill-Brecht) Harms Co. (ASCAP)" on the reissues. Gold Elektra labels with the bold "Mono" on the right side and pressing ring, unique to the Monarch pressing. The Near Mint cover is still in the original factory cellophane wrap with breathe holes. A "Monaural" sticker is affixed to the cover underneath the cellophane wrap. Vinyl - Side 1: Excellent Minus / Side 2: Very Good Plus.
