THE DOORS S/T Elektra EKL-4007 1st U.S. MONO Pressing 1967


Allentown, Pennsylvania Pressing as indicated by the (A) in the dead wax.


Weil-Brecht, Witmark ASCAP credit on ALABAMA SONG (Whisky Bar). Indicating

true first MONO edition. "The End" has noticeable F-bombs at ending. 


Test played on headphones with treble up to determine condition.


VINYL in VG++ condition, looks clean with just a few very light hairlines, plays excellent with the exception of a few areas with a few seconds of groove wear/noise that puts it in VG+:



3 rotations after first chorus instrumental section 3 rotations at very beginning of "Crystal Ship" very short.8 repeating swoosh sounds from small mark before "The killer awoke before dawn..." on "THE END".



COVER in VG+ with corner wear (see photos), yellowing, corner bumps, light ring-wearlight rubbing on bottom seam, spine readable, 2 small holes on upper left from price staple.
