Auction Description:
THE DOORS "The Doors" mono vinyl LP. With this pressing the spine of the jacket is listed as STEREO while the front cover of the jacket has a label from the record company that states MONO. According to Discogs this is a mono pressing...the # on the LP is EKL-4007. Best guess is the record label used leftover stereo jackets for the mono pressings and just stickered the LP. Looking at the grooves it appears to be a mono pressing as well (it has very shallow grooves while stereo LPs tend to have deeper grooves). It is also a US pressing.
The jacket is in VG+ shape...it is clean and intact (no splits anywhere) and still has loose shrink over it. The LP is in VG+ shape. It's nice, clean and flat. It has a few light marks, but it plays cleanly with minimal surface noise.
