Description

1967 Elektra Records, rare original mono pressing of The Doors classic debut, pressed at LA's storied Monarch Records pressing plant. Awesome punchy sound on the original mono, quite a different experience to the usual Stereo mix.
VPI cleaned, record conservatively graded as VG, Side 1 is closer to a solid VG+, Side 2 a strong VG. Some surface noise/light crackle present between tracks and some quiet parts, overall still plays really good. The cover has a fair amount of ring wear and general shelf wear, still looks pretty good for its age. Includes Elektra inner sleeve.
Packed and shipped with care. You can combine any records I am selling for a significant shipping discount. Thanks.
