GRAB A BARGAIN!!!!
Here we have a copy of The Door's classic "Strange Days". This is the 3/4 pressing from the year 1967, & features the tan Elektra labels. Judging by the etching on the run out, this record was pressed 10-3-67. Catalogue number EKS 74014. Pressed in the USA.
MATRIX NUMBERS:
SIDE A: EKS 70414A (AB) 10-3-67
SIDE B: EKS 70414B (AB) 10-3-67
Sleeve Condition – VERY GOOD – This cover is in really nice condition considering it's age! Nice sturdy card sleeve, with strong crisp edges and spine. There are of course some light signs of handling etc but is in very clean and in really good condition, all this considered! Comes with the original printed insert which does show some wear and creases, and does have a seam split on the bottom.
Record Condition – GOOD+ – When I looked at the record I could see some hair lines/sleeve marks and a few light scuffs. There didn't appear to be anything majorly wrong but I wanted to test play to make sure the audio was good. I played the record and was very pleasantly surprised by how good it sounded. Nice strong audio, some light background noise which doesn't seem to overpower the music. It is more prominent in the quieter parts or between tracks but generally nothing really to worry about. The visual wear I described didn't really have much affect on the sound in comparison to what I was expecting. I graded a GOOD+ taking into consideration the visual vs the audio. A nice playable copy for someone to enjoy! There is a name written on the labels but it doesn't really compromise the quality of them. I recommend giving this a quick clean, just to maybe further improve the audio and take away any dust etc on there.
