THE DOORS - WAITING FOR THE SUN - 1968 ALBUM IN VG+ CONDITION FREE POSTAGE TO UK RED ELEKTRA LABEL WITH LARGE "E", STEREO, CAT NO: EKS 74024 - MATRIX NUMBERS A1/B1 THIS IS A VERY GOOD+ COPY OF THE SECOND DOORS ALBUM RELEASED ON ELEKTRA IN 1968. THE VINYL IS IN VERY GOOD SHAPE OVERALL; SIDE ONE HAS A FEW MARKS BUT THEY DO NOT AFFECT PLAY; SIDE TWO IS CLOSE TO AN EXCELLENT GRADE, WITH HARDLY ANY MARKS AT ALL. THERE IS A LITTLE BACKGROUND CRACKLE BETWEEN TRACKS, BUT IT IS NOT NOTICEABLE ON ANY OF THE TRACKS APART FROM THE VERY QUIET SECTION OF "THE UNKOWN SOLDIER". IT PLAYS PERFECTLY WITH NO STICKS, JUMPS OR POPS AND THE VINYL RETAINS A DEEP SHEEN. THE ROUGH TEXTURED ELEKTRA LABELS ARE IN EXCELENT SHAPE WITH NO WRITING OR MARKS THE COVER IS IN GOOD CONDITION; THERE IS WEAR TO THE SPINE AND A SMALL STICKER TEAR ON THE TOP RIGHT OF THE FRONT COVER. THERE IS A SMALL CREASE TO THE BOTTOM RIGHT OF THE FRONT COVER. THERE IS A NAME WRITTEN NEATLY IN INK ON THE INSIDE GATEFOLD. OTHERWISE IT IS CLEAN. IT HAS THE ERNEST J. DAY CREDIT ON THE REAR. Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump. Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
