Description
I'm a long-time audiophile and record collector thinning my substantial personal collection. This rare UK mono copy of Waiting For The Sun is pretty good. Under bright light the vinyl shows marks and fine scratches that mostly manifest as background noise in the quieter passages. I've personally play graded this record all the way through and rate it VG. Except for a light to moderate scratch that sounds through the lead out of Hello, I Love You and into the first half of Love Street, there were no other pops that I heard. The fidelity is very good. I used this as a filler copy until I found a substantially more expensive replacement. Waiting For The Sun may be the the rarest of the Doors mono pressings. Excellent copies typically sell for hundreds of dollars.
This record has been ultrasonically cleaned in TergiKleen solution and then rinsed and vacuumed twice with distilled water on a VPI 16.5 for your listening pleasure.
I've purchased many over-graded LPs on eBay and know just how frustrating that can be. If my records are priced a little higher than others it's because they're worth it in terms of time and aggravation so buy with confidence!
